Hi I’m Athina and I’m a readaholic. When I was a child I loved having bedtime stories read to me and was regularly gifted books, slowly amassing the entire Beatrix Potter book collection. Once I got to secondary school I stopped reading. I carried around Jenson Buttons autobiography for my entire time there and still didn’t get past the first chapter. For my GCSE English Literature we had to read Far From the Madding Crowd, I watched the film instead and lied to my English teacher about where I was in the book (sorry Mrs Smallcolder), still got a C.
Once school was finished I found an escape in books once I started the world of work and would ravish a romance novels in a weekend. I joined a bookclub to expand the genre of books that I read and now read pretty much anything expect horror.
Day to day I run an IT business with my husband but wanted to share by love of books with others.Â
